BUK Money – Terms & Conditions / Service Agreement
1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions govern the provision of services by BUK Money Ltd (“BUK Money”,
“we”, “us”).By using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Services Provided
BUK Money provides a platform and support service to assist with collection of financial information, submission of tax-related data, coordination with third-party accountants, and access to additional financial services via Buckley Rose. BUK Money does not directly provide regulated tax advice.
3. Data Protection & GDPR
We are committed to protecting your personal data in line with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
You consent to the collection, storage and processing of your personal and financial data.
We may share your data with Buckley Rose, third-party accountants, HMRC and software providers such as Xero.
You have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict your data.
4. Subcontractor Authority
If you are a subcontractor, you authorise BUK Money to contact your contractor(s) and obtain payslips, CIS statements, contracts, P60s and related information.
5. Third-Party Accountants
BUK Money outsources tax advice and submissions to qualified accountants.
These accountants are registered with HMRC.
BUK Money Ltd is not a registered HMRC agent.
6. Software & Submissions
We use HMRC-recognised software including Xero for digital record keeping and submissions.
7. Client Responsibilities
You must provide accurate and complete information.
We are not responsible for errors resulting from incorrect or incomplete information provided by you.
8. Payment Terms
This is a rolling monthly agreement.
You may cancel at any time.
Payments already made are non-refundable.
We will not submit your tax return until all required payments have been made.
9. Agreement Period
Agreements align with the UK tax year (6 April – 5 April).
If you join after 6 April, missed months will be backdated and collected.
10. Working Hours
Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm.
We do not guarantee responses outside of these hours.
11. Communications
We may contact you via email, phone, WhatsApp or app notifications.
You may opt out of marketing communications at any time.
12. Limitation of Liability
BUK Money shall not be liable for indirect or consequential loss.
Our liability is limited to the amount paid by you in the previous 12 months.
We are not responsible for third-party actions or HMRC penalties resulting from incorrect information.
13. Complaints
If you are unhappy with our service, please contact us and we will aim to resolve promptly.
14. Termination
We may suspend or terminate services if payments are missed or terms are breached.
15. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time and will notify you of significant changes.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales.
17. Acceptance
By using our services, you confirm that you accept these Terms.
